The Mainship 31 Sedan Bridge is a 31-foot trawler built around generous interior volume and straightforward cruising capability. Powered by a single Marine Power gasoline engine producing 325 horsepower, the boat cruises at 17 knots with a top speed of 24 knots. The fiberglass hull measures 11.83 feet across the beam, and the design prioritizes comfort for extended time aboard or weekend getaways.
The interior layout centers on a master stateroom forward with a double berth, hanging closet, and under-berth storage, along with a guest cabin featuring over-under bunks. Both sleeping areas have solid wood doors and direct access to the head, which includes an electric flush toilet and shower. The main salon combines a large U-shaped dinette with a galley equipped with a two-burner electric and alcohol stove, refrigerator-freezer, single sink, and microwave. Standing headroom exceeds 6 feet 6 inches throughout the cabin spaces. Climate control is provided by a CruisAir reverse-cycle system. A Boss Marine stereo and flat-screen television round out the interior amenities.
Deck features include a large flybridge with molded steps for easy access and generous seating, an aft cockpit with full enclosure, a spacious foredeck, swim platform, and easy sidedeck passage. Both the flybridge and cockpit enclosures offer weather protection. A Simrad Cruise chartplotter handles navigation.
Maintenance over recent years included a new galley faucet, replacement of the port-side raw water pump, foredeck core replacement with closed-cell foam and deck resealing, holding tank replacement, toilet replacement, and new front panels on the enclosure. A battery charger and hot water heater support onboard systems.
