1995 Catalina 36 MkII

This 1995 Catalina 36 MkII is a well-maintained cruising sailboat built with a fiberglass hull and equipped with a 25 hp Universal diesel engine rated at 1,296 hours. The wing keel draws only 4 feet 4 inches, suited for shallow-water exploration. The boat is rigged for single-handed sailing, with all lines led to the cockpit and an Auto Helm ST 4000 autopilot for easier passage-making.

The boat sleeps two in separate staterooms and features one head compartment, a full galley, and a navigation center with a Garmin 4210 GPS chartplotter and VHF radio. Helm-mounted instruments include a newly installed Garmin digital depth and wind display. A 30-amp shore power connection and comprehensive Bimini canopy system with forward and middle sections plus dodger offer weather protection.

The sail inventory includes a mainsail in good condition with a Dutchman flaking system, two 135 genoas (one actively used, one essentially new), and a 100-square-foot storm jib. Standing rigging is ten years old and serviceable; running rigging ranges from working condition to new. The bottom received fresh paint in December 2024. The boat was originally based on Lake Ontario and has spent only five years in Florida, where it was hauled seasonally.
