1995 Hunter 430

The 1995 Hunter 430 is a 43-foot fiberglass cruiser with a round hull and wing keel design. Powered by a Yammer 4JH2E diesel engine rated at 50 horsepower, it carries a Northern Lights generator and features direct drive with a three-blade Flexfold propeller. The boat has been actively maintained, with the mast removed and inspected in 2022, standing rigging examined by marine professionals in 2023, and all running rigging replaced recently. Recent work includes replacement of the drive shaft strut and cutlass bearing in 2022, a new holding tank in 2020, and mechanical inspection in 2023.

The accommodations consist of three staterooms and two heads. The forward cabin sleeps two and has an ensuite head with manual flush toilet and wet shower. The main salon features a raised dinette with ultra-leather upholstery that converts to a double berth, dedicated chart table, and teak and holly flooring throughout. The galley is fitted with a three-burner propane stove, oven, dual stainless steel sink, refrigerator/freezer, and microwave. The aft stateroom sleeps four across two berths and has private access to the second head with shower and upgraded manual toilet. Water capacity is 165 gallons and fuel capacity is 50 gallons.

The cockpit is large and circular with a walkthrough transom fitted with a reboarding ladder, integrated teak rail seats, and storage lockers beneath. A bimini and dodger with newly restitched windows and panels (2023) provide weather protection. The boat carries original sails restitched in 2023 with lazy jack system and boom cover. An electric windlass with 60 feet of chain and 250 feet of rode operates by foot pedal.

Navigation and electrical systems include a Raymarine GPS, chartplotter, and radar, two VHF radios, and dual air conditioning and heating units running on shore power or generator. Solar panels provide trickle charging, and the boat has two house batteries and a Heart Interface inverter. A cradle and winter cover are included.
