The Voyage Yachts Mayotte is a 47-foot fiberglass catamaran built in 1995, designed for extended cruising with strong sailing performance and excellent stability. Powered by twin Yanmar 4JH57 diesel engines of 54 hp each with approximately 270 hours, the boat features SD50 sail drives with feathering propellers. The rig consists of a heavy-duty South African Sparcraft aluminum mast and boom with running backstays, a removable carbon fiber bowsprit, and comprehensive Harken and Lewmar winch systems. Sails include a North Sails fully-battened main, furling genoa, and furling staysail with stack-pack and lazy-jacks.
Accommodation includes eight berths across two queen and two double cabins, with three heads—one full-sized electric and two compact manual flush models. The saloon features large windows for natural light, red upholstery, and a cherrywood height-adjustable table that seats four to eight. A spacious galley offers a four-burner Eurogas stove, oven with grill, wine cooler, and twin stainless-steel sink with pressurized hot and cold water and carbon-filtered drinking water. Refrigeration includes a 12v DC fridge and separate 220v fridge and freezer, along with a Village Marine watermaker and backup Katadyne unit.
The electrical system is substantial: a Victron 3000w inverter/charger, 1005W of solar panels with MPPT regulators, 800 amp-hours of battery capacity, and dual generators—a Nanni 12kw diesel and an MASE IS8 8kw unit. Navigation electronics comprise Garmin VHF, 12-inch multifunction display, radar, sailing instruments, and autopilot. Fuel capacity totals approximately 600 liters across two tanks, with 800 liters of water storage and comprehensive safety equipment including a Viking eight-man life raft, electric anchor windlass, and dual bilge pumps.
Additional features include an electric dinghy crane with winch, teak-slatted aft platform, stainless bimini with recent fabric, transom hot and cold shower, charcoal barbecue, and cockpit table. Maintenance records note recent seal replacements, new anodes, new paint, new propeller, and new security system. Some items require attention: the staysail furler needs servicing, radar requires repair, and various 220v systems have been unused and may need recommissioning.
