2004 Leopard 47

The 2004 Leopard 47 is a fiberglass catamaran with a 46.83-foot length and 24.25-foot beam, powered by two Yanmar diesel engines of 113 horsepower each. The hull draws 4.5 feet and accommodates four cabins and four heads, making it suitable for extended cruising or live-aboard use.

The boat has been actively maintained and upgraded. One engine—a 4JH57 model—is new with 200 hours of running time; the other original 4JH4E unit remains in service. The Phasor 8.5 generator has 250 hours. Standing rigging was replaced in 2021, and topsides gelcoat was refinished the same year. A water heater was installed in 2022.

Power and climate systems are modern. The boat carries 900 amp-hours of LiFePO4 batteries paired with a Victron Multiplus inverter-charger. Three air-conditioning units serve the salon (16,000 BTU), forward cabin (12,000 BTU), and aft cabin (12,000 BTU). A 400-watt Bouge RV solar panel array supplements power generation. Fresh water systems include a stand-up refrigerator, Equator washer-dryer combination with venting, and multiple toilet options: an electric Seaflo quiet flush with fresh and seawater rinse capability, two twist-flush Seaflo units, and one manual toilet. Plastic fuel tanks are fitted.

Navigation and anchoring are well-equipped. The boat has Garmin Reactor autopilot, Garmin displays, and AIS capability. Ground tackle includes 85-pound and 55-pound Apex anchors with 200 feet of 3/8-inch chain. Sails are in good condition. An Ultrasonic Barnacle Defense System is installed. The boat is USCG documented.
