The 1996 Farrier F25C is a 27-foot composite trimaran designed for racing and cruising. Hull #006 was completed by Colorado Composite and comes on a double-axle Pacific trailer with winch, fitted with 2023 tires and new wiring.
The boat is rigged with an Omohundro carbon mast, high-aspect rudder, and carbon bow sprit. Standing rigging was overhauled in 2023, with all running rigging replaced between 2023 and 2025, including new backstays and masthead kite halyard in 2025. The sail plan consists of a 2018 Smyth main with three reefs in excellent condition, a 2018 Smyth jib, 2025 Smyth screacher (two uses), 2018 Smyth spinnaker, and 2025 Smyth masthead spinnaker (three uses). A new high-aspect CCI centerboard was installed, with the original included. Custom carbon tiller and three carbon extensions complete the steering system.
Electronics were rebuilt in 2024 and include a B&G Vulcan MFD with ZG100 transducer, MiniPlex-3Wi-N2K computer for mast rotation and WiFi connectivity, Garmin 3-axis compass, Vesper Marine AIS transceiver with WiFi instruments, Standard Horizon VHF with DSC, and a new 2025 Tillerpilot 2000 autopilot. The electrical system features a 2025 100Ah battery with 100W solar charger, dual Noco Genius Gen 5 chargers, and 25-foot dock charging cable.
The interior offers a large V-berth, two settees (one for smaller stature), closed storage compartments, and cooler space. The boat is powered by a brand-new Tohatsu MFS6DWD 6 hp long-shaft engine with under 10 hours of use. The hull was faired and repainted in 2024, with fresh Black Widow bottom paint and renewed deck grip. Equipment includes a 9-pound race anchor with 15 feet of chain, fenders, dock lines, Lifesling, and regulatory gear.
