This 1998 Dragonfly 920 Racing is a composite trimaran 30 feet long with a 10.66-foot beam. The boat is rigged for sailing with a 9.9 hp Yamaha auxiliary engine and accommodates two cabins.
Recent work has included full replacement of electronics and wiring. The hull was repainted and fitted with new antifouling. The coachroof and hulls were repaired in 2023 and remain in strong condition. Two gel batteries were installed in 2023, along with a new VHF radio and four TACKTICK instruments for wind, direction, speed, and depth. The manual heads are new from 2022, and bilge pumps were replaced in 2023. Induction cooktop plates operate from shore power or with lithium batteries and a converter (not included).
The sail plan includes a recently renewed genoa of 22.5 square meters with fewer than 200 nautical miles of use, an asymmetric spinnaker of 70 square meters in fair condition, and a 40 square-meter Code 0 on roller furler. The mainsail at 38 square meters will need replacement. A removable boom extension of 1.4 meters is fitted. An inflatable kayak for two or three persons is included, complete with dagger boards.
Ground tackle consists of a 20 kg Spade anchor with 20 meters of chain and 20 meters of rope. The boat is equipped with seven large and three or four small fenders, numerous mooring lines, LED navigation lights, and three life jackets with tethers.
