This 1996 MDI 37 is a fiberglass downeast built around a single 708-horsepower Caterpillar diesel engine. The boat reaches a top speed of 26 knots and cruises comfortably at 19 knots, delivering an efficient 18 gallons per hour at that pace. The hull combines solid fiberglass construction on the sides with a one-inch solid glass bottom, and it carries a fiberglass fuel tank.

The engine has undergone a full Caterpillar rebuild backed by factory warranty, and the transmission has also been rebuilt. The generator received a new electrical end. The exterior has been completely repainted, restoring the boat's appearance throughout.
