A 1996 Outremer 38/40 catamaran designed by Gérard Danson and built at the Outremer Shipyard. This example retains the original hull design without extended transom, measuring 39 feet in length and 20 feet across the beam. The boat is fitted with two 60-horsepower Volvo diesel engines and features hydraulic steering with a disconnect function plus dual tillers for sail handling.
The interior accommodates four cabins and one head. The boat was built with the larger Outremer 45 rooftop design, providing increased headroom and space throughout the salon compared to standard versions of this model.
The boat underwent a full refit at the Outremer Yard that included a new mast. Over recent years, the current owner has added significant equipment and systems, with ongoing upgrades completed annually. The yacht has cruised extensively through the Caribbean to the Bahamas and has been maintained in sailing condition for longer passages.
