2004 Lagoon 380

This 2004 Lagoon 380 is a 38-foot fiberglass catamaran that has been comprehensively converted into a motorized cruising platform. The boat was repowered in 2023 with twin Yanmar 3JH40 diesel engines paired with sail drives and N2K connectivity. The mast has been removed, resulting in a lower center of gravity, a 13-foot air draft, and uncluttered deck space. The engines have completed their 1000-hour service and deliver speeds from 6.8 knots at 1800 rpm through 8.5–9 knots at 2900 rpm, with fuel capacity of 52 gallons supporting a range of approximately 240 miles.

Power systems are extensive. A 1600-amp-hour lithium battery bank is supported by 10 solar panels and twin 3000-watt Victron Multiplus II inverters offering split-phase 120/240-volt output. A portable 1500-watt backup generator provides additional capacity. The navigation suite includes a newer Raymarine electronics package and a Quantum Q24D full Doppler radar added in 2026. Starlink Gen3 satellite internet is installed.

The catamaran accommodates four cabins and two heads. The fourth cabin serves as dedicated space for the solar power management system, extra refrigeration, a tool shop, and storage. The galley includes a new refrigerator and is plumbed for a water maker. A composting head is fitted. The boat has accumulated over 1200 hours since repowering, including three trips to the Southern Bahamas.
