The 1997 Camano Gnome is a 31-foot fiberglass trawler with a beam of 10.5 feet, designed as a mid-sized cruising motor yacht. She is powered by a Volvo Penta TMD41D diesel engine with approximately 3,000 hours of service. The engine was serviced in September 2025 with a new starter installed. She cruises at 7 to 8 knots with a top speed of 11 knots and carries 450 litres of fuel across two aluminum tanks, along with 340 litres of fresh water.
The boat features a spacious interior layout suitable for extended cruising and overnight stays. Accommodations include an electric head with shower, a Force 10 three-burner propane stove with oven, a NovaKool AC/DC refrigerator, and a Wabasto diesel forced-air heating system. Power is managed by four Group 31 12-volt batteries installed in 2025, a True-Charge 20 charger, a 120-volt inverter, and 30-amp shore power connection. A bow thruster is fitted for close-quarters maneuvering.
Navigation and communication equipment includes an Icom IC-M45 VHF radio, a Lowrance HDS7 sounder with GPS and chart plotter integration, a Sitex T180 radar, an Autohelm ST7000 hydraulic autopilot, and a Protege stereo system. Ground tackle comprises a 10-pound claw anchor with 30 feet of 5/16-inch galvanized chain and 200 feet of nylon rode.
The boat includes a 1999 AquaPro 9 to 10-foot dinghy with a 2006 Honda 2-horsepower outboard engine recently serviced and showing low hours. A swing-out stainless steel davit is fitted for dinghy launch and recovery. A steaming mast is present. The hull received a bottom haul-out in October 2025 with the antifouling paint system applied down to bare gelcoat before new paint was applied.
