The CNM Evolution is a 127-foot aluminum-hulled explorer-category ferry built in 1997. Powered by twin Caterpillar diesel engines producing 5,400 horsepower combined, the boat cruises at 30 knots and is designed for passenger and vehicle transport operations.
The boat accommodates multiple passengers across its layout, with three heads and generous deck space typical of a working ferry. The aluminum construction provides durability suited to regular commercial service.
The Evolution holds all necessary Transport Canada authorizations for ferry operations and has been maintained in active service on the St. Lawrence River crossing between Rimouski and Forestville, Quebec.
