This 1997 Hinckley Runabout 29 is a fiberglass Downeast-style boat built with a cabin, making it one of only two examples from the early production run. The single Yammer 315-horsepower diesel engine powers a Hamilton Jet drive with joystick control, delivering a cruising speed of 20 knots and a maximum speed of 23 knots. The shallow 18-inch draft opens access to bays and coves that larger boats cannot reach.
Below deck, the cabin sleeps two in a vee-berth and includes an enclosed head and galley. Topside, the main deck offers a pedestal seat for the skipper, forward and aft-facing companion seating, and additional seating on the motor box, accommodating up to six passengers total.
At 28 feet long with a 9-foot beam, this boat combines practical cruising accommodations with responsive handling and efficient power delivery in a compact package.
