The Hunter 376 is a 37-foot fiberglass sloop built in 1997, powered by a Yammer diesel engine. This model was recognized by Cruising World as Boat of the Year (Best Value) in its debut year, combining strong sailing characteristics with substantial interior comfort. The boat features 6'6" headroom throughout, a teak and holly sole, and custom leather appointments. Sixteen opening hatches and ports plus seven fixed hull ports flood the cabin with natural light and ventilation, delivering usable interior space comparable to much larger yachts.
The accommodations include a spacious layout below decks designed around extended cruising and comfortable living. The cockpit is notably large with a walk-through transom. A substantial dodger with strataglass windows was upgraded a few years ago and remains in good condition. The boat draws the deeper draft preferred for Bay sailing.
This example has been maintained as a one-owner boat and is in well-kept condition throughout. The Yammer diesel has received consistent professional maintenance. Recent upgrades include a new chartplotter (approximately three years ago) and new canvas on the dodger. The mainsail dates to around 2006 and the jib is approximately five years old. All lines lead aft for convenient deck handling.
