The 1980 Nautor Swan 371 is a performance cruising yacht designed by Ron Holland and built by Nautor in Finland. This is hull #039 from a production run of just 87 boats. The yacht combines proven offshore capability with timeless design—a fin-keeled, spade-ruddered hull that tracks well and maintains excellent balance under sail. She reaches 7 knots at speed and cruises comfortably at 5 knots, powered by a 24-horsepower Bukh diesel fitted in 2006.
Below deck, the boat features Nautor's signature teak joinery and a seakindly layout with a private V-berth forward, a quarter berth, and a convertible salon. The design prioritizes generous storage throughout. One head and shower serve the accommodations. The teak decks were completely replaced in 2018, restoring the classic aesthetic and underfoot durability. Rod standing rigging was professionally replaced by Rigworks in San Diego in 2013. New thru-hulls and fresh bottom paint were installed in August 2025.
The boat is well-equipped for extended cruising, with multiple sails on hand, an extensive collection of spare parts, and numerous tools stored aboard. This reflects years of thoughtful stewardship and practical seamanship by her previous owners. Her track record includes seven cruises to Mexico, demonstrating proven capability for bluewater passagemaking and the reliability that comes with careful maintenance and upgrades over time.
