This 1998 Dufour 35 Classic is a well-maintained composite sailing yacht, 35 feet long with an 11.4-foot beam. The boat is powered by a Volvo Penta MD 2030 diesel engine producing 29 horsepower, fitted with a Sail Drive and folding propeller. The engine has approximately 1,600 hours and has benefited from recent maintenance including replacement of the heat exchanger and exhaust elbow in late 2023 and the Sail Drive seal in 2022. Regular oil and fuel filter changes have been maintained at 100- to 150-hour intervals, with the most recent service completed in November 2024.
Accommodation comprises two double cabins, a saloon with modular seating and quarter berth, a galley, a navigation table, and one head with shower. The saloon offers flexible layout options for cruising or extended stays. The galley features a gimballed two-burner gas cooker and refrigerator with recently serviced thermostat, while a 220-volt inverter supports additional onboard systems.
Navigation and electronics are comprehensive and largely updated. A Raymarine ST 5000 Plus autopilot, ST50 wind and direction indicator, and AIRMAR depth, speed, and temperature sensors form the core. An updated Raymarine Element S 9-inch display at the helm provides charts, position, depth, speed, temperature, and wind data. Additional equipment includes a Navicom RT-650 VHF with MOB function, portable VHF radio, and an ICOM MA-500TR AIS transceiver with dedicated antenna fitted to the pushpit. A Furuno radar and radar detector are installed but require servicing. A Raymarine ITC-5 signal converter was installed in November 2024. Solar power is supplied by a 385-watt fixed panel with SmartSolar MPPT100 regulator, while service batteries (2x100 Ah, January 2025) and engine battery (November 2024) provide stored energy.
The sailing plan includes a full complement of sails: a full-batten mainsail with lazy jack and bag featuring three manual reefs, a UK Sailmakers genoa on a 2023 Profurl roller furler, an asymmetric spinnaker, a trinquette, and two storm jibs. The rigging was professionally replaced and inspected in December 2019, with further professional adjustment in October 2025. The mast carries new LED navigation lights and related wiring. Four Lewmar self-tailing winches were serviced in 2023. Ground tackle includes a 20-kilogram Spade anchor with 40 meters of 8-millimeter galvanised chain plus 30 meters of additional 8-millimeter chain and 20 meters of rope, a 15-kilogram FOB anchor with chain, and a grapnel. A 1000-watt Lofran electric windlass with one wired and two wireless remotes is installed with reinforced support fitted in September 2025. The boat carries a 2.7-meter Trail
