The 1999 Alliaura Transcat 48 is a composite-hulled motor catamaran designed for extended cruising. At nearly 48 feet in length with a 21-foot beam, she offers the stability and spaciousness of catamaran design. Twin Yanmar 315 hp diesel engines provide power for a cruising speed of 9 knots and a maximum speed of 18 knots. The boat features extensive cruising infrastructure including a 100-liter-per-hour desalinator, solar panels with associated charging systems, a generator, and fuel and water storage across dual tanks totaling 3,000 liters of fuel and 600 liters of water.
Interior accommodations include four double cabins, each with its own head and galley facilities. The main salon spans 20 square meters with 360-degree views and seats eight at a dining table. The galley features gas cooking with oven, plancha, and a multifunction electric oven alongside refrigeration and abundant storage.
