1999 Alliaura Transcat 48

The 1999 Alliaura Transcat 48 is a composite-hulled motor catamaran designed for extended cruising. At nearly 48 feet in length with a 21-foot beam, she offers the stability and spaciousness of catamaran design. Twin Yanmar 315 hp diesel engines provide power for a cruising speed of 9 knots and a maximum speed of 18 knots. The boat features extensive cruising infrastructure including a 100-liter-per-hour desalinator, solar panels with associated charging systems, a generator, and fuel and water storage across dual tanks totaling 3,000 liters of fuel and 600 liters of water.

Interior accommodations include four double cabins, each with its own head and galley facilities. The main salon spans 20 square meters with 360-degree views and seats eight at a dining table. The galley features gas cooking with oven, plancha, and a multifunction electric oven alongside refrigeration and abundant storage. Crew comfort is supported by a washing machine and washer-dryer unit.

The extensive deck and outdoor spaces include a 21-square-meter flybridge with integrated seating and a covered helm station with bimini, plus a spacious 12-square-meter aft cockpit with teak table and seating for multiple guests. A tender platform supports a 2021 Zodiac 300 with 15 hp Honda engine. The boat carries four anchors with associated ground tackle including a 40-kilogram primary anchor and Lewmar windlass.

Recent maintenance and upgrades include a major engine overhaul in 2020, new alternator in 2021, solar charging systems and multiple battery chargers updated through 2024, and a water heater replaced in 2023. Interior furnishings such as seating upholstery and exterior teak have also been recently refreshed.
