1999 Beneteau Oceanis 36 CC

The Beneteau Oceanis 36 CC is a centre-cockpit cruising yacht built in 1999 with a laminated fiberglass hull and balsa sandwich deck. At 36 feet overall with a 12-foot beam, she carries a Yanmar 3GM30F diesel engine of 27 horsepower with 2,400 hours on the clock. The hull design, by Beret Racopeteau, combines a cast iron fin keel and spade rudder with a 632-square-foot sail plan. She is equipped for short-handed sailing, with all active running lines leading to the centre cockpit and roller-furling main and genoa systems controlled by Lewmar winches.

The interior is finished in cherry woodwork and arranged around the centre-cockpit layout. Forward is a double-berth cabin with hanging lockers and storage shelves. The aft cabin features a queen berth, custom innerspring mattress, hanging and shelved lockers, and an expansive settee with storage beneath. The salon offers six feet three inches of headroom, cushioned settees, and a dining table with swing-out extensions. The galley is fully equipped with a two-burner gas stove, oven, electric refrigerator, freezer, and extensive cupboard storage. A separate head compartment includes a marine toilet, wash basin, shower with flexible hose, and sump pump.

Navigation systems include a Garmin GPS5208 chart plotter with Caribbean charts, Garmin radar, Raymarine autopilot with gyro, wind and depth instruments, and an AIS receiver. The electrical system comprises 400 amphour lithium batteries installed in 2024, a 100-amp Balmar alternator, 700 watts of rigid solar panels, and a Magnum Energy inverter-charger for 110V AC service. The freshwater system holds 90 gallons split between two tanks with pressurized hot and cold water throughout. The main sail is new in 2025; the genoa is a 130-percent furling sail.

Deck equipment includes a Mantus 45-pound anchor with 12V electric windlass and all-chain rode, teak inlaid swim platform and transom step, folding swim ladder, and double stainless steel lifelines. An AB 9AL dinghy with Mercury 3.3 horsepower outboard is carried on davits. Additional features include a full cockpit enclosure, three deck awnings, gas grill with dedicated bottle, and ample storage throughout the yacht.
