This 1999 Hunter 380 is a 37-foot fiberglass cruising sailboat powered by a 36-horsepower Yanmar diesel engine. Designed for comfortable extended cruising, the boat combines a responsive sailing platform with practical living accommodations and comprehensive systems for offshore and coastal work.
The interior includes two cabins and one head. The galley features a Force 10 oven, microwave, and a Spectra Ventura watermaker. Refrigeration and deep freezer storage are provided by a Polar Mate unit. An electric Vacuflush head serves the single head compartment. The boat carries 30 gallons of fuel and 70 gallons of fresh water. Power is managed through house batteries (Gel American Battery Group 40, 12V), a Honda generator, a Freedom inverter with Xantrex battery charger, and three 65-watt solar panels with a Balmar 150A alternator.
The sailing inventory includes a fully battened mainsail and a furling foresail, both in good condition, along with a spinnaker pole and lazy jacks. Two anchors are aboard: a 60-pound CQR on 150 feet of chain and a 32-pound Fortress on 50 feet of chain plus 100 feet of rode. An electric Simpson-Lawrence windlass with deck switches handles ground tackle. A Lewmar #4 self-tailing cockpit winch and electric winch manage sails.
Navigation and communication systems include Raymarine plotting, autopilot, GPS, and depth sounder, with Raytheon radar, log/knot meter, and wind direction instruments. An ICOM 802 SSB radio and hand-held VHF are installed. Safety gear includes an EPIRB with battery expiration dated 5/2030, multiple life jackets and life rings, harnesses, jack lines, flares, and fire extinguishers. A 10-foot Achilles tender with a 2023 Honda 4-stroke 5-horsepower outboard is included.
