1999 Passport Royal Passport 43

The Royal Passport 43 is a 45-foot fiberglass cruising sailboat built in 1999, powered by a 65-horsepower Yammer diesel engine. She features teak joinery throughout with a teak and holly sole, eighteen opening ports, and seven overhead hatches that provide excellent light and ventilation. The boat offers two cabins and one head, with cruising speeds around 6.5 knots and a maximum speed of 7.75 knots.

The main accommodation spaces are thoughtfully arranged. Forward sits the head with shower, marine toilet, vanity sink with medicine cabinet, and access to a large chain locker. The main stateroom features a Pullman berth with ample hanging lockers and storage outboard. The saloon includes an L-shaped settee to port with a fold-down dining table, a straight settee to starboard suitable as a sea berth, and a full navigation station with desk and communications equipment. The galley to port is U-shaped and well-equipped with double stainless steel sinks, propane stove with oven, refrigerator, freezer, microwave, and substantial counter and storage space. The guest cabin has a double berth, hanging locker, shelving, and a manual head.

On deck, the boat carries a tender with 8-horsepower outboard engine on davits, life raft, cockpit table, cushions, swimming ladder, bimini top, and spray hood. Sails include a new Doyle Strata main with full battens and lazy-jacks, a new Doyle furling genoa with UV cover, a new staysail, a full set of new Allman sails, and a 2020 Code Zero with sock. Electrical systems include shore power inlet, solar panel, and a Watt and Sea hydro generator. A cockpit shower is also fitted.
