The 2000 Beneteau Oceanis 361 is a 36-foot fiberglass cruising sailboat powered by a single 30 hp Yanmar diesel engine. Designed for comfortable passage-making, she features a two-cabin, one-head layout with a side shower and dual captain seats in the settee. The boat has been equipped with air conditioning and a suite of modern navigation and automation systems.
Recent updates include a new chart plotter and autopilot installed in 2025, along with fresh canvas and new solar panels (400 watts with Renology controller). Ground tackle comprises a Lewmar electric windlass, new 35-pound anchor, 85 feet of 3/8-inch chain, and approximately 150 feet of rode. The electrical system was upgraded in 2025 with a new 400 Ah house battery bank plus two starter batteries.
The hull received professional bottom work in November 2024, at which time all through-hulls were replaced. A new mainsail is scheduled for May 2026. The yacht is outfitted with air conditioning for tropical cruising and carries the equipment and systems typical of a well-maintained offshore cruiser.
