The Duffy 42 is a classic Downeast lobster yacht built in 2000 with a fiberglass hull designed by Spencer Lincoln. At 42 feet with a 14.5-foot beam, she draws on careful craftsmanship throughout. Power comes from a Caterpillar 3176 diesel engine producing 600 horsepower, which has accumulated approximately 2,600 hours of operation. The hull was laid up by Atlantic Boat Works in Maine in 1997 and completed by builder Hunter Scott in Massachusetts.
The boat was commissioned as a custom build for cruising, both short and long-range, with significant attention paid to meeting the original owner's requirements. The design emphasizes a smooth ride and capable handling. The layout offers well-equipped accommodations and functionality for extended time aboard.
