The 2000 Hinckley Picnic Boat 36 is a classic Downeast-style cruiser built with a Kevlar E-glass hybrid hull and balsa core, vacuum-bagged with Vinylester resin. Powered by a single 420-horsepower Yanmar diesel engine driving a Hamilton waterjet, the boat is equipped with JetStick joystick control for responsive, precise steering. The shallow-draft hull and waterjet propulsion allow easy maneuvering in shallow waters and tight spaces, delivering a smooth ride in varied conditions.

The interior is finished in satin varnished cherry with a teak and holly cabin sole. The single cabin accommodates two berths, while the pilothouse and spacious cockpit provide ample seating for guests. The galley includes a two-burner stove and refrigerator, and a private head serves the interior. An Accu-point heater provides warmth.

Exterior details include varnished teak toe rails, handrails, and a custom Hinckley varnished teak bowsprit. The deck and cockpit are constructed with E-glass and balsa core, molded with polyester resin.
