2000 Hunter 410

The 2000 Hunter 410 is a 41-foot fiberglass cruising sailboat powered by a Yanmar 4JH2E diesel engine rated at 50 horsepower, with 747 hours on the engine. She cruises at 6.75 knots and reaches a maximum speed of 8.24 knots. The boat features a beam of nearly 14 feet and is built to accommodate cruising couples or small families comfortably.

The layout includes two cabins and two heads, arranged for extended cruising. The boat is equipped with dual reverse-cycle air conditioning units (16,000 and 8,000 BTU Dometic marine systems) and a 2000-watt inverter with 100-amp charger backed by two 8D batteries. Solar panels were added in 2025 to supplement power generation. Navigation and safety systems include a Garmin GPSmap 5208 MFD, Raytheon ST 60 depth sounder, Garmin VHF 200 radio, and a handheld Retrvis VHF. The self-steering system is a Hydrovane VXA 2D, and the helm features a Lewmar large folding wheel.

Sailing equipment includes a precision carbon-fiber head sail on a Profurl furler and a GORI 3-blade folding propeller. The anchor system consists of a Delta anchor with Lewmar windlass operated by foot switches on deck; new chain was installed in 2025. A Lewmar large folding helm wheel and dripless PSS shaft seal are aboard.

Recent maintenance includes a bottom job completed in December 2025, hull sides wet sanded and buffed with wax, a new bimini with frame and canvas installed in 2026, and a new dodger also completed in 2026.
