2000 J Boats J/105

The 2000 J Boats J/105 is a 34-foot fiberglass sailing yacht that balances racing performance with cruising comfort. Designed as a one-design with overnight capability, this model combines the speed of a Grand Prix racer with practical accommodations and ease of handling. The hull is built for stability and smooth motion, eliminating excessive pitching and rolling.

Sail handling is streamlined for short-handed operation. The boat features a Dacron mainsail on sail slides, a single roller-furling jib, and an asymmetric spinnaker housed in a snuffer that can be deployed and managed from the cockpit by a single person. The carbon-fiber bowsprit retracts, and jibing is designed as a one-person operation. A full dodger and cockpit cushions provide comfort during extended time on deck.

Power comes from a Yammer 2GM 20F diesel engine rated at 20 horsepower. The J/105 measures 34.5 feet in length with an 11-foot beam, making it nimble enough for responsive sailing across a range of wind conditions while maintaining stability and control.
