2000 Ocean Yachts Express Super Sport

This 2000 Ocean Yachts Express Super Sport is a 40-foot sportfisher built on a fiberglass hull with a 14-foot 2-inch beam and a draft of 3 feet 8 inches. Twin CAT 3126 diesel engines rated at 420 horsepower each power the boat, equipped with a Glendinning synchronizer. A Westerbeke 6kw generator provides auxiliary power. The fuel capacity is 390 gallons with 90 gallons of water storage.

The boat features a full cabin layout with a galley including stovetop, microwave, and refrigerator, plus a head with shower stall and VacuFlush toilet. Climate control is provided by air conditioning and reverse-cycle heating. Entertainment includes a flat-screen television and premium surround-sound stereo system. Underwater LED lighting with adjustable color modes is installed throughout.

The cockpit is arranged for fishing with ample seating, outriggers, rod holders, and a bait preparation station. Navigation and communication systems include dual Simrad units providing GPS, radar, autopilot, and VHF radio capability. Additional mechanical equipment includes trim tabs, dual strainers, upgraded battery switches, an oil exchange pump, and organized AC/DC electrical panels.

A new isinglass enclosure was installed in 2024, and a bow thruster was professionally added in 2022. The boat is hauled annually with full service maintained by Portland Yacht Services. The engines and generator have approximately 1,100 and 1,072 hours respectively.
