2000 Privilege 37

This 2000 Privilege 37 catamaran was built as an owner's version, configured from the outset for enhanced comfort and livability rather than charter use. The boat has never been chartered and has been carefully maintained by a dedicated owner focused on preserving both its technical and aesthetic condition.

The Privilege 37 is recognized among multihull enthusiasts for robust construction and reliable offshore performance. Built with foam sandwich and polyester resin, it combines light weight with structural strength. The wide 21.65-foot beam provides excellent stability in rough seas and enables easy movement throughout the boat. The standout feature is a spacious, naturally lit central cabin with integrated television—an uncommon amenity for a catamaran of this size, making it an inviting space for relaxation during passages and extended anchorages.

The boat is well-equipped for autonomous cruising. A watermaker produces 60 liters per hour, providing substantial freshwater independence. Heating is installed for cooler climates. Water filtration includes a multi-stage system with dedicated filter tap. The galley is fully equipped with oven and grill, three gas burners, and drawer-style refrigerator and freezer. Electrical capacity comprises four 130 Ah Victron AGM batteries. Two 28 CV Volvo diesel engines power the boat at a cruising speed of 7.5 knots. The rigging was serviced in 2022; the jib was checked in 2024, though the mainsail would benefit from overhaul. An electric windlass and 45 kg plow anchor with 80 meters of stainless steel chain secure safe anchoring in challenging conditions.

Navigation and safety systems are comprehensive Raymarine equipment: GPS, autopilot, AIS, VHF, and six instrument repeaters distributed between cockpit and chart table. A 2023 semi-rigid tender with aluminum double-hull bottom and 9.9 CV outboard motor completes the package. The boat is suitable for long-term liveaboard or extended Caribbean cruising.
