2007 Lightwave 38

The Lightwave 38 is a fiberglass catamaran built in 2007, featuring a 37-foot length and 22-foot beam. Twin Volvo diesel engines of 58 horsepower each provide propulsion. The hull design reflects Lightwave's approach to cruising catamaran construction, with a galley-down layout positioned in the starboard hull for efficient galley placement.

Accommodation includes one double cabin in the port hull and two cabins to starboard, offering flexible sleeping arrangements for cruising. The protected helm station is a notable design feature, providing good weather protection while underway.

The interior and exterior finish are in good condition. A comprehensive refit was completed in 2024, including new cabin portlights, new clear vinyl and covers, replacement pumps for the heads and fresh water systems, new seawater flushing system, new EPIRB and personal locators, and a six-person life raft serviced in March 2024.
