The 2001 Mainship 430 is a 43-foot fiberglass trawler powered by twin Caterpillar diesel engines delivering 770 horsepower. Built for extended cruising, this boat features upper and lower helm stations that allow operation in varied weather while keeping the captain integrated with the main gathering space. A new fly-bridge enclosure protects the upper deck, which seats multiple guests and includes a large cockpit table and full Bimini top.
The layout centers on a spacious saloon below with entertainment features and excellent natural lighting throughout. Two private staterooms—one forward and one aft—each have a queen bed, separate head, and large hanging storage. The galley is positioned forward with ample prep space and storage. The aft stateroom opens directly to the aft deck and swim platform via a private entrance. A large transom door and lowered aft deck provide easy boarding and stern access for line handling or fishing.
Deck design prioritizes movement and social space. Walk-around side decks connect the bow to the raised aft deck, which accommodates several chairs and an outdoor grill. The fly bridge above offers excellent sightlines and guest seating.
Equipment includes a Kohler generator with 1,353 hours, Garmin 3010C GPSMap, Raymarine Pathfinder RL70 radar, and three reverse-cycle climate control units. The boat has been lightly used for local cruising and maintained by its long-time owners.
