This 2002 Beneteau Oceanis Clipper 393 is a 38-foot fiberglass sailing yacht designed by Jean-Marie Finot for offshore cruising and long-distance passages. Powered by a Yanmar 4JH3E diesel engine producing 55 horsepower with 1,600 hours of operation, the boat cruises at just under 6 knots and reaches a maximum speed of 8 knots. The standing rigging was renewed in 2022 and the forestay replaced in 2020. A Yanmar shaft drive transmission provides reliable propulsion.
The layout provides three cabins and two heads, along with a spacious saloon. The galley features a functional gas range and refrigerator, and hot water comes from a 40-liter water heater installed in 2024. Solar panels (110W, 2022) and AGM batteries (2022) support auxiliary power, with a 220V shore connection available.
Navigation equipment includes a Garmin GPS from 2021, a Raymarine autopilot from 2022, depth sounder, new compass, fixed and portable VHF, and an EPIRB beacon from 2022. The sails comprise a batten main, anti-UV jib on the original roller, an asymmetric spinnaker with sock (2022), and original trysail. Deck features include teak cockpit, a canopy and bimini in excellent condition, a new cockpit shower, new cushions from 2023, and a revised four-person life raft from 2022. An inflatable tender with 2.5hp motor is available separately.
