2002 Hunter 386

The Hunter 386 is a 38-foot cruising sailboat with a fiberglass hull and moderate beam of 12.6 feet. She is powered by a single 40-horsepower Yanmar diesel engine. The boat is rigged with a furling mainsail and furling headsail, both recent additions, and features all sail controls led aft to support short-handed sailing. A full dodger and bimini top provide weather protection on deck.

Below decks, the layout centers on a spacious salon with a wrap-around settee, convertible dinette, and abundant natural light from the signature Hunter windshield, fixed ports, screened ports, and overhead hatches. The forward cabin includes a private stateroom with an en-suite vanity, sink, and storage. The aft master cabin has a large queen berth. A single head serves the boat and features an electric marine toilet, shower, and Corian-covered vanity.

The galley is fully outfitted with a Corian-topped counter, double basin stainless sink, side-by-side ice boxes, and top-loading trash bins. The cockpit accommodates up to eight people and includes a custom console with a folding table. Storage throughout is substantial, and a dedicated nav station provides electronic space.

For systems and electronics, the boat carries a Fischer Panda generator, a full Garmin suite with radar and ClearVu sonar including forward-looking capability, and a Raymarine autopilot. Reverse cycle air conditioning and heating are installed. Maintenance is current and the boat is ready for immediate use.
