2002 DeFever 53

This 2002 DeFever 53 is a fiberglass trawler powered by twin John Deere diesel engines producing 450 horsepower combined. The boat delivers the fuel efficiency and reliability characteristic of John Deere powerplants in a proven 53-foot hull.

Over the past 2.5 years, the boat has undergone substantial systems work and upgrades. The engines received full service. Electronics were comprehensively refreshed with new instrument panels at the helm and a custom fiberglass console on the flybridge. The air conditioning systems were replaced, and the electrical infrastructure was upgraded to lithium batteries with extensive rewiring throughout.

The boat presents in strong condition inside and out. These upgrades were undertaken in preparation for extended cruising, with all major systems addressed, tested, and either serviced or renewed.
