2002 Island Packet 360

The Island Packet 360 is a 36-foot downeast-style cruiser built on a modified-V hull with a 12-foot beam. Twin 350-horsepower Yanmar diesel engines sit in deep prop tunnels beneath the cockpit sole, delivering a cruising speed of 25 knots and a top speed of 30 knots. The design balances classic aesthetics with practical seaworthiness, featuring an easily driven hull optimized for fuel efficiency.

The pilothouse centers on an L-shaped settee with the helm positioned opposite at a twin-bench seat. Large opening windows forward and to the sides provide ventilation and visibility. The cockpit accommodates additional guests, while wide side decks with secure railings allow safe passage to the foredeck. A transom door and integral swim platform add convenience.

Below, the single-stateroom interior showcases teak-and-holly cabin sole and varnished teak joinery. Eight opening ports enhance cabin ventilation. The boat is equipped with a bow pulpit, side-exiting exhausts, and an integral swim platform. The fiberglass hull has been maintained with continuous care and upgrades over its service life.
