This is the final production example of the Nautor Swan 44 Mk II, hull number 169, designed by German naval architect Frers. Built in 2002 at the Pietarsaari yard, she represents the most refined iteration of a model that earned lasting respect for offshore capability and build quality. The yacht has been lightly used throughout her life, spending her early years on freshwater before relocating to Europe, where she was refitted at Nautor Villefranche in 2012 with new rod rigging and fresh North Sails in 2013.
The interior features three cabins and two heads finished in Burmese teak joinery with teak and holly sole throughout. The layout suits cruising couples with guests, with the twin heads arrangement providing privacy. Below deck accommodation is warm and well-appointed, reflecting careful ownership and consistent upkeep.
On deck, the Swan's flush design with aft-led control lines makes her manageable short-handed. A deep, secure cockpit and teak side decks and cockpit are complemented by hydraulic backstay and vang. The 50 hp Volvo Penta MD22P diesel saildrive provides reliable auxiliary power.
Equipment for extended cruising includes a Spectra watermaker, Cruisair reverse-cycle air conditioning, and Eberspächer diesel heating. The mast was repainted approximately 12 months ago. The yacht is in very good overall condition, ready for immediate use.
