2002 Tartan 37

The 2002 Tartan 37 is a fiberglass cruising sailboat built for both performance and comfortable extended cruising. Her 37-foot hull carries a 12-foot 8-inch beam and draws 5 feet, with a displacement of approximately 16,150 pounds. A single 40-horsepower Yanmar diesel engine provides propulsion, paired with a 38-gallon fuel tank. Water systems include two 80-gallon freshwater tanks and a 24-gallon holding tank.

Below deck, the yacht offers two private cabins with large double berths, along with ample storage throughout. A separate shower stall and functional galley complete the accommodations. The interior features ultra suede upholstery in the cabin areas and upholstered bedding in both the V-berth and aft cabin.

Since 2020, the boat has received substantial refitting work. New sails from Saint Marten Sails, a Tartan factory mast, and Harken roller furling and lazy jack systems have been installed. The rigging includes a stainless steel anchor and windlass. Cockpit seat cushions and new stainless steel frame and dodger have been added, along with fresh wiring throughout and B&G electronics for navigation and instruments.
