The Grand Soleil 45 is a cruising yacht built for performance across all sea conditions. Designed by Cantiere del Pardo, it combines elegant waterlines with practical handling and generous cockpit and side-deck space. The hull is fiberglass, powered by a 55 hp Yammer diesel engine that delivers a cruising speed of 7 knots.
Below deck, the layout follows a classical arrangement with an L-shaped galley, spacious chart table, and owner's cabin forward. Two identical twin cabins aft complete the three-cabin accommodation. Solid wood interiors remain in excellent condition, with newer soft furnishings and double-lined cushioning throughout. An Eberspächer heating system with vents in each cabin ensures comfort in cooler months. The forward head includes a blackwater tank.
Navigation and offshore capability are fully equipped: Raymarine autopilot with remote control, active GPS/AIS, Furuno Navtex weather receiver, EPIRB, radar, and five TCTICK displays plus three MULTI instruments at the mast. Battery banks total five 100 Ah units for services (replaced 2025) and one 70 Ah for engine (2022), supplemented by an 80 W Solbian solar panel and 1800 W inverter with intelligent charge management.
Sails are in excellent condition, with a Quantum main in laminate on Harken cars fitted with lazy jack and easy bag (both 2024). Running rigging consists of T90 lines with Tylaska hardware. Standing rigging is original but checked annually by a rigger. The sail drive cover is new (2024), silent blocks were replaced in 2023, and the Max Prop propeller includes a spare. Engine servicing and winter haul-outs are carried out regularly. Italian flag, RINA safety certificate valid to March 2028.
