2003 Hunter 356

The Hunter 356 is a 35-foot fiberglass sailing yacht with practical design and proven appeal. The hull balances easily under both power and sail, featuring roller-furling main and jib sails, a spacious covered cockpit with seating and storage, a walk-through transom, and an electric windlass with ground tackle. The Yanmar 27 hp diesel engine has logged 1,860 hours and is backed by a 38-gallon fuel supply.

Below deck, the yacht offers a functional galley, a bright salon with generous headroom, a forward V-berth, and an aft queen-size berth. A large head compartment includes a separate shower stall and a standard toilet. The galley features a propane stove and a 12-volt refrigerator with freezer capacity. Navigation and automation equipment includes a Garmin 12-inch plotter with radar, depth sounder, autopilot, wind meter, and AIS.

Recent work includes a forced-air diesel furnace installed in 2024, new AGM house and engine batteries also in 2024, and a fresh bottom paint application in 2024. The head received a new standard toilet in 2025, and running rigging was replaced in 2025. Earlier upgrades include a new cutlass bearing and dripless shaft seal installed in 2021. Additional features include an Iverson dodger, cockpit awning, and stainless steel cockpit arch with traveler.
