1995 Freedom 35

This 1995 Freedom 35 is a David Pedrick design built by Freedom Yachts, featuring a carbon fiber mast and self-tacking jib configured for straightforward, short-handed sailing. The boat was renewed and refreshed in 2022. A two-speed electric winch, stack-pack sail cover with lazy jacks, and the self-tacking jib system mean minimal sail handling is required. Navigation equipment includes a new RayMarine GPS at the helm station, VHF with AIS at both the chart table and helm, and a second VHF at the helm. The deck carries new Lewmar hatch covers, full cockpit cushions, a walk-through transom, and a swim platform. Interior skylights and stainless-steel opening ports provide natural light and ventilation.

Below deck, the layout includes two cabins with sleeping for six total, plus a pull-out salon L-settee. The galley is positioned aft, with a head and shower stall at the base of the companionway. The boat's layout and proportions are well-regarded in the cruising class for both comfort and usability, with no standing rigging to maintain and a design favoring relaxed, easy sailing from the cockpit.

The yacht is powered by a single 27-horsepower Yanmar diesel engine. The hull is fiberglass, measuring 35 feet in length with a 12-foot beam.
