2003 Legacy 40 Hardtop Express

This 42-foot Legacy Hardtop Express combines Downeast-style design with a practical cruising layout. Twin Yanmar diesel engines delivering 880 horsepower propel the fiberglass hull, while the hardtop provides weather protection and the elevated helm offers commanding visibility of the water ahead.

Below deck, the interior centers on a bright salon with large windows and an L-shaped settee, opening to a fully equipped galley. Forward, the master stateroom holds a centerline queen berth with storage and an ensuite head featuring a separate shower.

Navigation and vessel systems include dual Garmin displays, Garmin radar, and a Simrad AP44 autopilot. Communications are handled by two Icom IC-M506 VHF radios. Power management features a Victron MultiPlus-II inverter/charger and a Northern Lights generator, while the boat is equipped with Lenco trim tabs and a Reverso oil change system for convenience and maintenance.
