2016 Regal 42 Sport Coupe

The 2016 Regal 42 Sport Coupe is a fiberglass cruiser powered by twin Volvo Penta IPS500 diesel engines producing 370 horsepower each. The IPS system offers joystick docking control and delivers cruising speeds around 25 knots with a top speed of 36 knots. The boat measures 42 feet in length with a 13-foot beam and accommodates two staterooms and two full heads.

The interior combines practical living space with entertaining amenities. The galley includes an electric cooktop, microwave, refrigerator, and Corian countertops. The main saloon features high-gloss mahogany joinery and a cabin table. The cockpit is built for extended time aboard, with a fully equipped wet bar featuring a refrigerator, ice maker, and electric grill, plus a teak table with varnish finish. Climate control throughout includes both cabin and cockpit air conditioning, while a power sunroof allows open-air options.

Navigation and entertainment systems include a full Garmin suite with autopilot, radar, and fishfinder with transducer. Garmin electronics support seamless cruising and fishing capability. Additional features include trim tabs with auto-glide, underwater lights, a retractable hardtop, forward and aft sunpads with Sunbrella covering on the bow pad (new in 2024), and an electric helm seat. The boat carries a full eisenglass enclosure and comes equipped with an electric shore cord reel.

The engines and diesel generator received full 1,000-hour service in August 2024. The boat spent its operating life as a freshwater yacht until relocating to Florida in 2023 and is currently maintained on a lift with regular professional service.
