This 2003 Meridian 490 Pilothouse is built on a 49-foot fiberglass hull and powered by twin Cummins 370 hp diesel engines with electronic controls, offering a cruising speed of 16 knots and a maximum speed of 22 knots. The engines have logged only 737 hours. A bow thruster with controls at both helm stations enhances maneuverability.
The pilothouse layout features an expansive salon and galley with an open design, while the pilot station provides clear sightlines with dual helm positions. The three-cabin accommodation includes a modified master stateroom enlarged by removing the wall between the master and former bunk room, which retains its custom mirror doors and built-in bunks used for storage. Two heads service the boat. A pop-up flatscreen television is fitted in the salon.
Navigation and automation systems include a newer Garmin touchscreen multifunction display with integrated GPS and sonar, RayMarine radar and autopilot at both helm stations, and an inverter for 120-volt power. A 13.5 kW Onan diesel generator provides independent power. Climate control is managed by electric heating. An inflatable tender with motor is included.
Recent updates encompass new batteries, refrigerator, microwave, and ice maker. The black waste lines and toilets were replaced, and an engine oil change system was added. Starlink and a Fusion stereo system are also installed. The boat is fitted with a bow thruster.
