2003 Solaris 36 OD

The Solaris 36 OD is a light displacement racing yacht with refined proportions built for speed across all conditions. The 36-foot design combines the responsiveness expected from a performance boat with the comfort and elegance characteristic of the Solaris brand. Power comes from a single 30 hp Lombardini diesel engine.

The boat sleeps six across three cabins: a V-berth forward and two twin cabins aft, each with a double bed option. The main saloon features a dinette with table and two sofas, a chart table with navigation instruments, and a galley equipped with a two-burner stove, refrigerator, oven, and sink. A single head serves the accommodation.

In 2023, the yacht underwent a comprehensive refit including complete overhaul of the engine, renewal of all hydraulic and electrical systems, new portholes, and full polishing of the hull and stainless steel fittings. The rig received new rigging and was repainted. The cockpit features synthetic teak, a carbon mast and boom, and a lazy bag with side awnings. Deck hardware and pulpits were updated, including custom stern fittings.

Instrumentation is fully modern: a Garmin suite comprising VHF, GPS, wind indicator, and autopilot; two compasses; a boiler; stereo system; and a Quick battery charger. Service batteries are dual 100 Ah AGM units with an additional 80 Ah AGM for engine start. The sail inventory includes multiple Millennium and North Sail options, with several spinnakers and storm sails available.
