2003 St. Francis 48

The St. Francis 48 is a 48-foot fiberglass catamaran designed by Angelo Lavranos and built for bluewater cruising. Its wide side decks with handrails support safe movement around the boat, while the protected helm station offers visibility and comfort during extended passages. The hull is engineered for stability and sea-keeping in offshore conditions.

The interior centers on an open-plan saloon that combines galley, dining, and living spaces in a light-filled layout. Four double cabins each have their own bathroom, providing comfortable accommodation for extended voyages. Large hatches along the side decks work with the open saloon design to ensure strong ventilation throughout.

Power comes from two Yanmar engines of 110 horsepower each, delivering a cruising speed of 7 knots and a maximum speed of 10 knots. The catamaran carries full sailing rig for bluewater passages.
