The Catana 471 Ocean Class is a 47-foot fiberglass catamaran built for serious cruising. She carries two Volvo diesel engines of 110 horsepower each and features a carbon mast paired with an extensive sail inventory. The hull design delivers both seaworthiness and sailing performance across extended passages.
Below deck, the yacht accommodates three cabins and three heads, with warm interior woodwork throughout. The layout prioritizes comfort and functionality for long-term voyaging. All galley and bathroom plumbing fixtures have been renewed. The catamaran is outfitted for independence at sea with solar panels and a watermaker, supported by full systems suitable for blue water work.
A major refit between 2024 and 2025 upgraded core systems and equipment. The Volvo engines were renewed, a new generator installed, and the mainsail replaced. Electronics were updated, and a new dinghy with outboard engine was added. A new bimini provides weather protection on deck. Additional enhancements were completed as part of the comprehensive refit program.
