This 103-foot steel houseboat was built by Steelhead Marine, a Portland-based specialist in steel boat construction. The all-steel hull measures 38 feet across the beam and sits in a 21.5-foot-wide well with insulated walls and ceiling. The boat well itself spans 84 feet, with a door clearance height of 26 feet. The structure comprises three decks overlooking the Columbia River.
The upper level features an 800-square-foot apartment with a bedroom, forced-air heat pump air conditioning, and wine cooler. The living space comes fully furnished. A second lower deck includes a bar area. Laundry facilities—washer and dryer—are integrated into the layout. An electric crane aids boat handling operations.
Additional amenities include 750 square feet of storage space. A Bose audio system is installed throughout. The houseboat combines functional boat housing with residential comfort in a single steel structure.
