This 2004 Fountaine Pajot Bahia 46 is a composite-hulled catamaran measuring 46 feet in length with a 24-foot beam. The boat is powered by two Yanmar diesel engines of 112 horsepower each. The design offers three cabins and three heads, making it well-suited for extended cruising or live-aboard use.
The yacht has undergone significant renovation since 2018 for ocean voyaging. Both engines were serviced in 2018, with the second engine receiving a full workshop overhaul. The sail drive units were reconditioned that same year. The boat carries 550 liters of fuel capacity and 850 liters of water. Freshwater production comes from a desalination unit rated at 180 liters per hour.
Power and systems reflect modern upgrades: lithium battery banks totaling 800 ampere-hours were installed in 2024, paired with 2000 watts of solar panels added in 2022. An Onan 7.5 kVa generator provides additional power. Navigation equipment includes Raymarine electronics with a 2023 radar installation, a 9-inch Axiom plotter, and a computer running OpenCPN. The boat carries Hydranet sails with a symmetric spinnaker, electric furling for the jib, and three electric winches. A rigid bimini top was fitted in 2023.
Accommodations include two refrigerators, a freezer, and a microwave. The cockpit features full canvas covering and teak trim on the guardwalls and toerails. Additional equipment includes a 3.1-meter tender with a 9.9 hp Suzuki outboard (2019), a 25 kg Spade anchor with 70 meters of chain, and a cockpit barbecue.
