2004 Hinckley Picnic Boat 36 EP

This 2004 Hinckley Picnic Boat 36 EP is built on Hinckley's DualGuard composite construction, featuring a Kevlar and E-glass hybrid outer skin, aircraft-grade balsa core, and carbon fiber inner skin for strength and durability. The hull carries a flag blue Awlgrip finish with double white boot stripe and red bottom. Powered by a 2011 Yanmar 440 HP diesel engine paired with a Hamilton jet drive and ZF transmission, the boat is equipped with a Vetus 12-volt bow thruster and custom JetStick control system for responsive handling in tight quarters.

The pilothouse design provides excellent sightlines with four tinted green windows, two of which slide open, complemented by four overhead acrylic hatches and Hella ventilation fans. The helm features a 14-inch stainless steel wheel with varnished wood rim, custom gauge package, and integrated Garmin multifunction chartplotter with sonar, GPS, and fish finder. Raymarine autopilot and Lenco electric trim tabs assist in cruising. An L-shaped settee with varnished teak detailing and two forward-facing Stidd helm seats with manual height and fore-aft adjustment occupy the pilothouse, while the cockpit includes a full-width settee aft, a wet bar with sink and insulated icebox, and a molded fiberglass shower with hot and cold mixing valve.

Below decks, the V-berth forward sleeps two comfortably, with storage beneath and a hanging locker to starboard. The galley features a Corian countertop, stainless steel sink with Grohe fixtures, 12-volt cold plate refrigerator, 600-watt microwave, and a wine rack. The enclosed head includes a Vacu-Flush marine toilet connected to a 27-gallon holding tank, undermounted porcelain sink, and Grohe handheld shower. Interior surfaces throughout are finished in satin-varnished cherry, with the cabin sole in varnished teak and holly.

The electrical system includes three 12-volt batteries totaling 540 amps, 80-amp alternator, heavy copper bonding, and inverter/charger for 110-volt power. Air conditioning systems cool both pilothouse and cabin, while a stainless steel 6-gallon hot water heater operates on shore power or engine heat. The boat carries a Muir electric windlass with 22-pound anchor, 150 feet of rode, dual 1500 GPH bilge pumps with float switches, and complete safety equipment including life jackets and fire extinguishers.
