The 2004 Hunter 36 is a 34.5-foot fiberglass cruising sailboat built around a thoughtfully engineered rig. The mast carries less weight aloft through swept-back spreaders, reverse diagonals, and mast support struts—a design that delivers superior strength without requiring a backstay while enhancing stability. The large roach mainsail serves as the primary power source, making sail handling straightforward across varying wind and sea conditions.

The deck is laid out with practicality in mind. An integrated arch frames the cockpit, offering protection from the boom and sun; an optional bimini extends this shelter. The command station features a custom console with VHF radio and engine instrumentation, single-lever control, and a fold-down table. A swim platform with walkthrough transom, shower, and folding ladder facilitate water sports and tender operations.

Storage is abundant throughout the boat, and non-skid surfaces are applied to deck areas. The yacht is powered by a single 27-horsepower Yanmar diesel engine and includes one head.
