The Najad 460 is a 46-foot fiberglass sailing yacht built for long-distance cruising with comfortable onboard living. Powered by a 96 hp Yammer diesel engine with a folding propeller, the boat features a Selden furling mast with three spreaders, full roller-furling main and genoa, plus a staysail on a removable inner forestay. The rig is supported by electric Andersen 58ST primary winches and can be managed efficiently by a small crew.
The yacht accommodates seven people across three cabins and a saloon. Below decks are two heads with septic tank and deck emptying, a gas stove with oven, two top-fed refrigerators with new compressors, a freezer, and a hot water maker that runs from the engine or shore power. The Eberspächer diesel heating extends to the cockpit. Navigation systems include a Raymarine RC80 plotter, ST60 instruments for depth, speed, and wind, RL70C radar, and ST7001V autopilot. A Simrad VHF with deck loudspeaker, bow thruster, and onboard WiFi complete the core systems.
Substantial work was completed in 2023 and early 2024. A new Raymarine Axiom2 Pro S 12-inch display and SeaTalk converter were installed. Power systems were upgraded with Victron 400 Ah lithium batteries and a Quattro charger with 5 kWh inverter. New batteries were fitted for the bow thruster and windlass. The stern toilet received new electrical installation, and the backstay tensioner was renewed. The teak deck was overhauled and lightly sanded, the cockpit cover received a full overhaul, and all sails were professionally maintained and washed. Engine service was completed in winter 2024–2025.
A RIB tender with 9.9 hp engine from 2017, life raft for eight, mooring gear, and comprehensive safety equipment are included.
