The Italia Yachts IY13.98 is a 46-foot Italian-designed cruiser-racer built in 2013 by naval architect Maurizio Cossutti. The hull employs sandwich construction with E-glass and carbon reinforcement, creating a stiff yet lightweight structure. The boat sits on a T-keel with bulb for strong righting moment and draws 2.60 meters, displacing 9,500 kg with 3,100 kg of ballast. A 55 hp Volvo Penta diesel provides auxiliary power and cruises at 7 knots. The sail plan is generous—approximately 124 square meters upwind and up to 226 square meters with gennaker.

The interior, designed by Emanuele Pillon, features teak finishes throughout and is laid out with three cabins and two heads. The design balances performance with cruising comfort, incorporating a flush deck, concealed lines, and substantial storage. The boat handles easily with a small crew while maintaining spacious accommodations for extended passages.

The mast and standing rigging are new aluminum components. The engine has been serviced by official Volvo Penta dealers.
